Keith FC are a semi-professional club in Aberdeenshire who play in the Scottish Highland League. The pitch barrier at their home ground of Kynock Park has been in a state of disrepair for several years and there became a pressing need to install a new structure. It was imperative that Keith undertook this work in order to meet the Scottish FA’s criteria for member clubs. In addition, Keith have aspirations to become a fully licensed club in the near future and the construction of a new barrier will aid their chances of achieving this. Keith applied to the SFP for money under the Facilities Strategy Award and were given a grant. The barrier has made a significant cosmetic difference to Kynock Park and ensures the future safety and comfort of supporters attending games.
