Our 2022 Club Development initiative was launched earlier this year thanks once again to funding from our long-standing partner, The Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust. The SFP Trust is committed to supporting and promoting inclusive football participation at grassroots level throughout Scotland and this initiative aims to invest in the development and growth of 60 Scottish FA Quality Mark Clubs, with a focus on increasing and enhancing participation opportunities for players and the continued development of volunteers.
Moray Girls F.C. from the Scottish FA North region recently received funding to help with their Under-10 age-group. Alison Leslie, club secretary thanked the SFP Trust and KFCT for this award and commented “This grant has been used to help with coaching courses for those leading our U10s group who are also parent volunteers. We are looking to get some more of our parents/ volunteers started on their coaching journey and this money will help towards that and means we can also expand our younger age-group. Many thanks from all the players at Moray Girls F.C.”.
