Victoria Park F.C. from the Scottish FA West region recently received funding through The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Club Development Grant scheme which is supported by the Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust.
This fantastic Glasgow club opted to use this funding to help with the start-up costs for their new 2014, 2015 and 2016 teams. John Rooney, the club’s Chair said “This very generous grant from The Scottish Football Partnership Trust and KFCT has enabled us to do numerous things for all our children within the club at all age groups, including dedicated Goalkeeping Coaching and additional coaching with RM Academy Coaching. Importantly, we have also been able to support our younger age-groups with new training kit, balls, goals and cones etc. This financial support has enabled us to get over 65 children of all ethnicities, genders and social backgrounds back out training and playing football, helping to improve their overall fitness and general wellbeing.”
