The Scottish Football Partnership has made an award to Motherwell F.C. to assist with the cost of upgrading the floodlights at Fir Park. The development of the system involved the Main Stand floodlights being replaced and those located at the East Stand being re-aimed. These improvements now bring the system up to the required lux levels for the club to compete in both domestic and UEFA Club Competitions in the years ahead.
The club was most grateful for the support which they received from The Scottish Football Partnership and Fiona Larnach from the club commented that “the increased lux level of the new floodlights will certainly improve the matchday experience for all visitors to Fir Park and will also greatly enhance the coverage of the club’s televised matches for those supporters watching at home.”
“We greatly appreciate the help and assistance offered by the SFP during all stages of the award application process.”
