Vicky Laing from the club said;
“We are so grateful for the award from the SFP’s Growing the Game fund. This money will allow us to purchase playing bibs and training equipment for our new girls section. Our under-9 girls are currently training inside at Lasswade High School, but next month will see the girls venturing outside to start training. We started off with 4 girls playing fun fours and we now have over 15 girls in this age section. We also have four new coaches which includes two of our older girls who currently play in our Under-17 squad and our young players love the fact that the older girls are taking time to help out with training.”
