The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

Donside Juvenile F.C. based in Alford, Aberdeenshire were delighted to receive their recent award from the SFP Trust. Graeme McDonald, the club’s coaching co-ordinator said “Thanks to the generous support of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust in conjunction with The Clydesdale Bank, we have been able to provide our latest group of young footballers with playing kit, bibs, training balls and equipment, ready to begin what we hope will be a long relationship with the club, playing and enjoying the best game in the world.
