The Scottish Football Partnership Trust recently supported a funding application from Maryfield United who are based at Fairmuir Park in Dundee. The club had identified the need to support more winter training activity for their 120 playing members, with a new portable floodlight system being seen as something that could have a major impact for the club.
Club Chairman Robert Falconer said; “We used our new floodlights for the first time last night and they were excellent, we want to say a big thank you to the SFP Trust for their contribution. These lights will help our players to continue their development with us as we now have the ability to offer them more contact time with a ball throughout the winter period”.
