Our mission is to drive investment for grassroots Scottish football clubs, giving them the financial support they need to grow, develop and thrive, and to promote the benefits of community football for wider society.
The game is booming across Scotland, with the women’s and girls’ game alone growing by 32% between 2019-2023, but facilities at a community level simply cannot keep up with this demand.
We use a multi-faceted approach to combat the range of challenges faced by Scottish clubs.
Many existing pitches are in poor condition. These can be expensive to maintain and cause injury. Our Pitch Perfect programme helps clubs overcome this challenge.
Ineffective floodlights can limit playing time and incur high energy costs. Our Lighting Up Our Game programme helps clubs overcome this challenge.
Lack of appropriate facilities creates challenging conditions for women and girls. Our Changing for the Better programme helps clubs overcome this challenge.
Inadequate security systems and a lack of medical equipment can leave players and staff at risk. Our Safe & Secure programme helps clubs overcome this challenge.
MSP for Greater Pollok
“I talk to a lot of community football clubs and often the biggest issue they face is getting access to funding. There’s no doubt that in this very difficult financial climate, that can be the real challenge.”
