“Raith Rovers FC is again grateful to the Scottish Football Partnership for
financial support in ensuring that we continue to meet the ever-changing
requirements around Health and Safety. The Main Stand here at Kirkcaldy was
built in the 1920’s. It may be an icon, but it does present challenges. The
provision of funding from the SFP helped us to upgrade fire doors and complete
phase 1 of a new fire alarm system. In addition, funding was also provided for
2 way radios for our stewards – thus enabling savings to be made on police cover
at matches.
The SFP has supported us in other projects over the years and
provides huge help and support to football clubs at all levels of the game. We
in Kirkcaldy are appreciative of the help provided and remain big fans of the
SFP generally.”
