Kelty Hearts J.F.C. were grateful to receive funding from the SFP to help part-fund the installation of two new covered spectator enclosures at New Central Park. It was in season 2014/2015 when the club celebrated its 40th birthday in style by winning the East Region Super League for the first time that work began on the revamp of Central Park. In 2016, further development of the ground took place with new standing areas and terracing built, along with the two new covered enclosures and the installation of a state-of-the-art 3G playing surface, which was funded by Fife Council as part of the £7.3m Kelty Community Centre project. The club officially opened their revamped New Central Park home with a match against Heart of Midlothian XI. The Fife Jambos welcomed their Edinburgh counterparts to their stadium and won the match 2-0 in front of a large crowd. The facility is already a great asset to the community and is widely used by local grassroots clubs as well as Dunfermline Athletic, Cowdenbeath and Raith Rovers in addition to Kelty Primary School and members of the public.
