The Scottish Football Partnership was delighted to be able to assist East of Scotland League side Dundonald Bluebell with a grant to help them upgrade their floodlights at Moorside. Allan Halliday, the club’s General Manager commented “Dundonald Bluebell would like to express a massive thanks to The Scottish Football Partnership for the monetary contribution awarded to us towards the cost of upgrading our floodlights at Moorside Park, Dundonald, Fife.”
“The floodlights will be of great benefit to the club by allowing us to comply with the SFA licence criteria on lux levels which enables us to retain our SFA membership. The lights will also now allow us to support the local community by offering sport activity in the area in the winter months for other under-age football clubs and other sporting activities such as walking football. This is hugely beneficial for all as the previous system provided a poorly lit area. A massive thanks once again to the Scottish Football Partnership for their contribution to what was a costly and complex project for our community club.”
