The SFP were delighted to be able to award Motherwell F.C. Community Trust with portable changing rooms last month to support activity for their various programmes. The Community Trust, which was established in 2011, has positively impacted the lives of thousands of people from Motherwell and the surrounding areas from the age of 3 to the age of 93!
The Trust’s capacity to deliver programmes had outgrown its facility within the confines of Fir Park as there were no suitable changing and toilet facilities for participants. Dawn Middleton, General Manager of the Trust commented, “The new changing and storage facilities provided by the SFP will complement our 3G training pitch and will make a significant improvement to our programmes enabling us to offer modern and welcoming facilities for the various groups we engage with on a daily basis. More specifically, our newly enhanced set-up sits nicely with our Trust’s charitable aims of widening opportunities for impoverished families and ensuring that all our activities are accessible and affordable.”
