The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

As you can see from the happy faces of the club’s young players, Rosyth F.C. were delighted to receive funding from the SFP Trust’s Growing the Game initiative in partnership with the Clydesdale Bank. Russell Taylor from the club said “This initiative has been fantastic for Rosyth F.C. and for the children in the local community and has assisted in more than 20 children, both boys and girls, taking up football. The award has been utilised to buy new balls and equipment for the children and coaches. A fantastic initiative!! Thanks for your support.”
