The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

A Growing the Game award from the SFP Trust was recently given to Do Soccer Academy, who are based in Dornoch. The funding enabled the club to enter a new Under-15 team in the Ross-shire Youth League and some of the players, resplendent in their kit, are pictured above. Mark McAuley from Do Soccer Academy passed on the thanks of the club to the SFP Trust and Clydesdale Bank for their support and the Trust wishes all the Academy players every success in the season ahead.
