Club Coach Jamie Marr said, “Over the past few years as a club we have had a few coaches who have tried to start up a Girls section however this has never really taken off. This however was one of the final pieces of Finnart’s Jigsaw that we really wanted to achieve. I believe with this funding provided by the Scottish Football Partnership Trust and the Clydesdale bank that this is just the start of a very exciting adventure involving our Finnart Girls. We’ve had a steady and strong 10 committed Girls attending our coaching sessions, we are absolutely delighted with this. The girls also participated in the final week of the block under 9 fixtures, they loved it and can’t wait to play more games”.
