Broxburn United Sports Club Trust were delighted to receive funding recently from the SFP Trust to assist with the purchase of various sets of new 7v7 and 5v5 goals for use at Albyn Park in Broxburn. The funding for this project was awarded from our small infrastructure strand within the James Anderson Grassroots Facilities Fund.
This fantastic grassroots club from the Scottish FA South-East region provide activity for over 470 local players, both boys and girls, who are supported by around 90 volunteer coaches. The club also provide access to walking football and para football and have recently introduced a new Over-16 female-only group. Marc Hagan from Broxburn United thanked both Mr. Anderson and the Trust for this equipment and added that the goals would be a great asset to the club both in training evenings and in their small-sided games festivals.
