Coach Tommy Burns from the club said;
“This award is gratefully received and will help us now buy our Under-9 girls a new home strip. Since last June we had almost 26 girls attend from the local schools that I coach with during the week and from there, the numbers have now increased to over 45 girls between the ages of 5 and 12. All the girls thoroughly enjoy participating in the training sessions and particularly enjoy playing in league games and organised festivals.”
“It’s very difficult trying to secure funds for our team and the girls will be over the moon with their new strips and we are indebted to the SFP for this funding.”
