The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership’s Growing the Game Award is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious pilot project aims to create 60 new Grassroots teams during the 2014/15 season.

Andrew Cowan from the club said;
“The grant from the SFP will enable us to provide the girls with a new kit that will allow them to feel part of a team. After only a few months, we have already seen a huge improvement in the ability of the girls attending our soccer school and with the new kit, it will allow the girls to take their skills to the next level by being able to take part in 4 –v- 4 games and festivals.”
“This grant also gives us some security in terms of paying for training facilities, allowing our club to progress and we are so grateful to the Partnership for this Growing the Game award.”
