Turriff United Football Club have been given an Award by The Scottish Football Partnership to assist with the cost of constructing a new spectator enclosure at their stadium, ‘The Haughs’. ‘Turra’ Club Secretary Gairn Ritchie said; “We have recently completed this wonderful new enclosure further enhancing the fantastic facilities we have at the Haughs. Working closely alongside Stuart McCaffrey at the Scottish Football Partnership the whole process was quick, simple and a huge benefit to a club our size. Without the financial assistance that we have received, this enclosure probably wouldn’t have happened. The ‘SFP’ are a great asset to the whole of Scottish Football no matter how big or small your club is. As a result of this addition to our facilities we are a huge step closer to achieving a bronze license for our ground. I would certainly advise any club with plans to improve their ground to make their first call to Stuart”.
