Club secretary Claire Morrison said, “Our club specialises in training girls as young as 7 the basic football techniques in a friendly atmosphere. This develops their teamwork skills and social interaction abilities. The Growing the Game award has assisted us in purchasing training strips so that all the girls look the same and makes them feel part of the team, which is one of the main reasons for girls joining a club, along with having fun of course”.
