This year, The SFP Trust and The Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust (KFCT) set-up a new innovative Club IT and Sustainability fund to support Quality-Mark accredited community clubs who were interested in using technology to aid their growth and development.
Grants of £500 will be awarded to part-fund the start-up costs of web-based club management systems which are designed to enable real financial, resourcing and administrative benefits, addressing many of the challenges club volunteers face on a day to day basis.
Forfar Farmington F.C. received an award for ‘My Club Hub’ which is the club management system they have chosen to enhance their ongoing growth, development, sustainability, communication and governance strategies. Nicola McBride from the club said “MCH has provided us with a system to manage our club registrations and fees in one place, as well as extra functionality available to run events, fundraising and book facilities. Admin support is second to none, a phone call or email away and always actioned timeously. The system has been especially beneficial for keeping all members up-to-date via news articles during the Covid break and kept all our members informed of new processes and procedures and has been well used by club officials, coaches and parents alike. We would like to thank both The SFP Trust and The Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust for this award which has greatly benefitted our club.”
