The SFP Trust recently awarded fun four goalposts to Edinburgh South Community Football Club (ESCFC) for use by their young players in the club’s Soccer School. The club were very grateful for the continued support of the SFP Trust and are now making full use of their new goals.
ESCFC’s Soccer School is open to all 5-9 year olds every Saturday morning at Inch Park and is regularly attended by well over 100 children – there is no doubt that the enthusiasm is there with these youngsters, and their coaches, and this has led to ESCFC having by far the largest number of teams within the East of Scotland Soccer Development Association.
Kelvin Hurd from the club commented “With the continued support of SFP Trust we are confident that both the Soccer School and the club will continue to thrive and keep over 500 youngsters entertained every weekend.”
