Club Chairman John Marshall said; “Our feedback is twofold. We found the application process to be relatively easy if you have some decent organisation and administration processes in place within your club. All the criteria was met easily as we could put our hands on the requested documents in no time. After being successful with the bid the hard work started. Recruiting players and volunteers for the section was a difficult task but it was made much easier with the financial support provided. We now have a strong section of around 15 players with two volunteer coaches who joined from our parent body. There is also another parent who is the volunteer section treasurer. All of these new volunteers were supported by our volunteer coordinator and received a full induction package. The players are now participating in fun four games in the FVFDA league and are coming on a treat whilst still having great fun! Please see attached a picture of most of them at our recent presentation fun day with their new kit and individual trophies to recognise their hard work and enthusiasm. I hope we can link up with The Scottish Football Partnership again in the future as we continue to strive to grow our club”.
