Blackburn United F.C. were recently granted a Growing the Game award from The SFP Trust in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank. The funding has allowed the club to set-up a new Under-11 Girls section. Nigel Thorpe from the club confirmed that the award enabled the girls to purchase new kit and equipment which was essential for their development within the game. As you can see from the above photograph, the girls all look fantastic in their new training kit and we wish them well for the remainder of the season.
