The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

Gartcairn Chairman, Robert McCallum stated “The work that The Scottish Football Partnership Trust carries out at grassroots level is much appreciated. The funding we have received has delivered top kit and footballs to one of our newest teams, something that generally takes a year to provide through other means and we are most thankful to both the SFP Trust and the Clydesdale Bank for this award”.
