The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership’s Growing the Game Award is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious pilot project aims to create 60 new Grassroots teams during the 2014/15 season.

Club Secretary, George Trudt advised that the club were delighted with their award from the SFP’s Growing the Game Fund and confirmed that the funding had assisted them greatly towards the set-up costs of the new teams and had allowed them to purchase new strips for the girls. He added “We now have over 40 girls registered with the club and all of the players and coaches greatly appreciate this award from The Scottish Football Partnership.”
