The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

Renfrew F.C. was delighted to receive funding from the SFP Trust’s Growing the Game initiative in partnership with the Clydesdale Bank. The funding has allowed the club to set-up a new 2010 mixed section, playing fun fours and some of the children are pictured above. Iain Wilson from Renfrew F.C. said “The support from both the SFP Trust and Clydesdale Bank is much appreciated and the funds have not only covered our league registration fees but have helped put parents on a first aid and early touches course.”
