Stirling Albion Junior Academy were fortunate enough to receive a Growing the Game award which enabled the club to create a new 2009 boys team, which will see around 20 new players participating in the game. The youngsters will start off playing 5-a-side football, then 7s and eventually the boys will progress to playing 11-a-side games. Sharon Grant from the club was delighted with the award which has allowed the team to purchase kit, balls, bibs, markers, kit bags as well as a first aid kit. As you can see from the above photograph, the boys are raring to go and already looking like budding football stars!
