The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

On receiving their award from the SFP Trust, Claire Jordan from Melrose F.C. said “Sincere thanks and appreciation from the newly formed Melrose Football Club Girls U-9s Team who are delighted with their new kit and equipment.
