This year, The SFP Trust and The Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust (KFCT) set-up a new innovative IT and Sustainability fund to support Quality-Mark accredited community clubs who were interested in using technology to aid their growth and development.
Grants of £500 will be awarded to part-fund the start-up costs of web-based club management systems which are designed to enable real financial, resourcing and administrative benefits, addressing many of the challenges club volunteers face on a day to day basis.
Deveronvale Community F.C. from Banff in Aberdeenshire have just received an award for ‘My Club Hub’ which is the club management system they have chosen to enhance their ongoing growth, development, sustainability, communication and governance strategies. Kev Stewart, the club’s Chairman said “We are looking forward to using My Club Hub and the huge benefits the system will bring in terms of registrations, subscriptions, communications and the general management of the club. We hope that My Club Hub will reduce the hours spent by our volunteers whilst at the same time increasing our revenue through subscriptions – it will be a great hub for everyone involved at the club to communicate and manage their teams. We are looking forward to working closely with MCH and to see MCH continue to develop – it really is a system built by volunteers for volunteers and we are delighted to be using this Management System. Our thanks must go to the SFP Trust and The Kilpatrick Fraser Charitable Trust for this award – it will be a great help in covering the start-up costs and we would like to thank everyone involved for their continued support.”
