SFPT Partners With Turf Tank UK

The Scottish Football Partnership Trust has joined forces with Turf Tank UK, an innovative provider of automated pitch line-marking robots.

For grassroots clubs across Scotland, pitch maintenance is a significant burden, often relying on volunteers and limited budgets week after week to keep pitches match-ready. This new partnership will support The Scottish Football Partnership’s work to reduce that pressure, helping clubs improve consistency, save time and focus more of their energy on delivering football in their communities.

Turf Tank UK’s automated line-marking technology is designed to deliver accurate, repeatable pitch markings without the need for manual labour. The Scottish Football Partnership Trust and Turf Tank UK will work together to identify where the technology can have the greatest impact for community clubs and facilities across Scotland, supporting long-term improvements to grassroots infrastructure.

The Scottish Football Partnership Trust CEO Sandy Hodge said: “Grassroots clubs are the heartbeat of football in Scotland, and access to high-quality, well-maintained facilities is essential to their long-term sustainability. Our new partnership with Turf Tank UK represents a significant step forward in supporting community clubs to not only develop their facilities, but to maintain them more effectively and maximise their use throughout the year.

“By combining innovative technology with practical support, this partnership will help clubs create better playing environments, increase participation, and ensure their facilities continue to serve local communities for generations to come.”

The partnership forms part of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s wider commitment to strengthening the foundations of Scottish football; supporting clubs, volunteers and facilities to create better experiences for players of all ages and abilities.
