The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership’s Growing the Game Award is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious pilot project aims to create 60 new Grassroots teams during the 2014/15 season.

“The grant received via The Scottish Football Partnership’s Growing the Game Initiative has supported Turriff United youth FC in establishing a new under 14 age group by assisting the club in purchasing 20 training balls, 3 match balls ,15 bibs, 2 sets of markers , a ball pump, first aid kit and a set of 12 water bottles and holder. In addition to which the remainder of our award will be put towards the purchase of new training kits and jackets. The support provided by the SFP was greatly appreciated by all at the club”
