Vale of Leithen F.C have been given a facilities award by The Scottish Football Partnership to assist with the cost of upgrading and extending their existing clubhouse at Victoria Park. The project is a vital step for the club on route to achieving a National Club License at Entry level and it has delivered a set of revamped changing and shower rooms, a new changing area for the match officials and a dedicated first aid room. Alex Currie, secretary of the Lowland League side said, “On behalf of Vale of Leithen F.C and myself I would like to thank the Football Partnership for all they have done to help us with our pavilion. Without the support given to us by the SFP we would have struggled to raise the funds required to carryout all the work which has taken place. Hopefully we can work together again in the future”.
