The purpose of The Scottish Football Partnership Trust’s Growing the Game Award, in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank, is to assist Scottish FA Quality Mark clubs add one new team to their playing membership. The funding provided assists with the start-up cost of a new team and is delivered in conjunction with the Regional Football Development staff. This ambitious project aims to create 60 new grassroots teams during the 2016/17 season.

Murieston United F.C. from Livingston were granted a Growing the Game award for their new Under-11 girls team enabling them to purchase new equipment, balls, training kit and match kit. The above photograph shows the girls in their new playing kit and they all look fantastic! Craig Dishington from the club was delighted with the assistance given by the SFP Trust in partnership with the Clydesdale Bank and passed on the thanks of the girls for the award.
