The Scottish Football Partnership was delighted to award funding to Linlithgow Rose F.C. to assist with the costs of erecting a new accessible viewing shelter for disabled supporters at Prestonfield. The club first engaged with the SFP in February of this year when, in order to satisfy the terms of Scottish FA Club Licensing, they were required to provide a covered area for disabled spectators. The club decided to press ahead with this project and the shelter was completed just in time for the visit of Hibernian F.C. in a pre-season friendly match this summer. The club are delighted that this new shelter has enhanced the facilities on offer to supporters at Prestonfield and the feedback has been really positive. You can see from the pictures below how well used this new viewing platform has been already. Jon Mahoney from the club thanked the Partnership for the award and added “We are delighted with this new covered area at our stadium which will greatly benefit our supporters.”
