The Scottish Football Partnership Trust was delighted to offer an award to Scottish Disability Sport to support their National 7-a-side Football Championships which took place recently at Toryglen. Mark Gaffney, SDS Opportunities & Events Manager said “Over 300 people competed in the SDS National 7-a-side Football Championships at Toryglen in Glasgow with all areas of Scotland, genders, ages and disability groups represented in what was a terrific advert for inclusivity. This event is fully inclusive thanks to the banding system developed by David McArdle from the Scottish FA and goes a long way to ensuring there are competitive opportunities for every level of player at the event. A big thanks must go to The Scottish Football Partnership Trust for their continued support of this event as without their significant contribution these events would not be possible.”
